Just a quick note - we're closed tomorrow, July 4th in observation of the 4th of July. Our online store is always open (of course :) ) so feel free to place any orders through our web store and they will ship out Monday, July 7th. Also, any orders placed today that ship via Priority Mail will not ship until Saturday, July 5th as there will not be any mail service in observation of the 4th of July holiday.

Our 2007 Christmas Shipping Calendar is also updated and you can view it here. Basically, the last day you can order a basket with Priority Mail shipping is December 17th as we will need to ship the gift baskets no later than December 18th to ensure a Christmas delivery.

Thanksgiving is three weeks from today

I've been so busy with daily gift basket orders and Christmas gift basket orders (Yes, large orders are coming in early - which helps the customer and us tremendously) that I had not realized how early Thanksgiving is this year. Abraham Lincoln set the time for Thanksgiving as the fourth Thursday in November in his Thanksgiving Proclamation on October 3, 1863. The news that Thanksgiving is coming early also means that another unofficial holiday is coming quick as well.

Black Friday.

We will be closed the week of July 23rd

We will be closed for 1 Business Week beginning 5pm on July 20 and we will reopen on July 30 at 9am. Any orders placed after 5pm on July 20 and during the week of July 23 will not be shipped until July 31. All orders placed before 5pm this Friday, July 20, 2007, will ship this week. Summer is usually a slower time for us and we will be taking a brief break before summer passes us by. Thanks for your continued support of Michigan businesses and the Michigan farmers who grow the fruits that we sell as jams and such.
